SURVEY DATA IS

SOLID GOLD

SURVEYS

Surveys are a great way to keep business data fresh. Zero-party data is solid gold because it’s voluntarily gathered directly from the most important people to your business,  employees, customers and partners.

Our surveys are unique because they are customized for your business to focus on the information that will be most beneficial to reaching your goals. We use a discovery process to identify the key areas that are impacting your business. Then use that information to build your survey.

We do the heavy lifting of designing and building the surveys and then analyzing the data to give your team actionable information.

A 2024 report by the IAB found that more than 70% of consumers are willing to share their personal data to support advertising.

Consumers understand that sharing their data they can benefit them in many ways.  In many instances they are aware their data will affect the content and ads being served to them on various digital platforms. However, they would rather be served content and ads relevant to their current interest so they willingly participate in this process. Also, as consumers become more educated about ad tech they understand those ads are funding that experience that has been curated for them.

SURVEY EXPECTATIONS

LENGTH

Surveys should be as short as possible to make them worthwhile, with no more than 30 questions. Surveys that are too long and cumbersome can compromise both the quality and quantity of answers. We want to ensure we collect as many complete surveys by keep surveys manageable in length and time.

 QUESTIONS

Questions are crafted with data collection in mind. The questions can be customized to fit your business needs. To ensure the quality of the survey, open-ended questions will be limited as that data is not as reliable and it’s more difficult to analyze. Our objective is to ensure high-quality usable data.

 TIMEFRAME

Once we complete discovery and start a survey we would expect it to take a 1-2 weeks to finalize that survey. Then we will determine how long to keep a survey open. Internal surveys are typically  open 1-2 weeks, while external surveys are open 2-4 weeks. The total survey process including reporting should be less than 8 weeks.

DESIGN

Surveys can be customized with a brand logo, custom survey name and description.  They can be designed with skip logic to make the user experience more customized. They can be anonymous if preferred.  The exit link for the survey can redirect people to a a specific website landing page.

ARTWORK

Ideally your team will create any promotional artwork for email, website or social for the survey. They know your brand and audience best and they are familiar with the brand standards. If survey artwork is required, it can be included for an additional fee.

COLLECTORS

Collectors include a customized collector link that can be shared on social and by email, a QR code or an embed code can be provided.  For external surveys we recommend multiple touchpoints where you reach your customers. Internal surveys we suggest are sent by email with a message from the leadership.

DISTRIBUTION

The best data comes from people who know your brand and products. Your employees, partners and customers/audiences are the best resource to collect data. Email lists, social channels and the business website are best ways to reach the target audience. If we need to buy results to reach a new audience, it can be included for an additional fee.

INCENTIVE

Giveaways, discounts or even just appealing to their ego are all viable ways to improve responses to your surevy.  Internal surveys are usually easier to get responses but the quality of the responses may be effected by the motivation behind it. If it’s mandatory vs anonymous and voluntary. We can help you determine the best way for you to get optimal survey results. We do not offer sweepstakes services.

RESULTS

Results are compiled, and the raw data is analyzed.  If there has been other data collected, it will be compared, and insights will be noted in a report/deck summarizing the highlights and key findings. The report will be shared with your team.
